Children's Book Project

The Children’s Book Project SF donates books monthly to One Love Black Community. We distribute the books during our Sunday show ups & our Winter Show Up

This collaboration was made possible by OLBC member Cassandra who maintains communication with the CBP & picks up books on a monthly basis.

The Postpartum Justice’s mission is to share cross cultural postpartum recipes, traditions & wisdom, to expose current postpartum realities, & to promote Postpartum Justice in Black and Indigenous communities. This collaboration was made possible by OLBC Asmara who maintains communication for support.

Arcadio’s Produce has been a consistent source of delicious produce & are very flexible in meeting our needs for One Love Sunday Show Ups. This collaboration was made possible by Janna and Asmara who maintains communication with Arcadio’s on a monthly basis

Lambda Chi Chi registered nurses posses not only a unique set of skills, but a spirit of service. They collaborate with us for our annual One Love Holiday Show Up. The sorority Fundraises, collect gifts, and create delicious holiday meal boxes. Together and with the support of community we create an assembly line to pack all orders then car caravan to to each family. In 2020 + 2021 we delivered to 40 families each time. Our goal for 2022 is 201 families. This collaboration was made possible by Asmara who maintains contact on an on going basis thorough the year.

Black Centering Midwifery-Led Group Care provides group based care to Black pregnancy capable people in San Francisco. They currently facilitate 6 groups a year with each group consisting of 8-12 pregnant people. One Love shows up for every person in their Black Centering Group Prenatal Care, once during pregnancy and once during postpartum. Their patients can then become a part of our community - we can show up on Sundays as requested and during our annual One Love Holiday Show Up. This collaboration is made possible by Charmaine and Asmara, Black Centering co-facilitators.







MilK Research Lab gathers and disseminated information about Black families for Black families. Katiana joins our Sunday show ups and makes information readily available to community members. This collaboration was made possible by Katiana who maintains communication between OLBC and MILK research lab

The Village Project SF’s mission is to bring together resources and programs to enhance the economic, educational, social and cultural well being of children. Since 4/2020- 2021 the village project donated grocery bags. This collaboration was made possible by Cassandra paused when we began to access produce from Arcadio’s.

How it works: When we learn of a presentation opportunity we share with all group members.

Those who have capacity and desire join to present.

If no member has capacity we will respond to inform those who requested.
