One Love Space

When One Love began, items were donated and stored in our homes to be given to community every week. For items we did not have the SFGH Patient Pantry was generous in completing our orders through their donations. Week by week we were able to show up, but overtime space became very limited in our homes to store items and going to several locations to pick up items became increasingly challenging.  

We reached out for support regarding much needed space & community showed up for us! Thank you to the leadership at the Economic Development on Third Street and Bay View Property Managers for seeing us & supporting our efforts. On March 2021, a month shy of our 1 year anniversary, we got keys to the back space at 4430 3rd street, a space for all donations!!!

On September 2022 we learn a lease for the full space at 4430 3rd Street had been signed, this includes the space that One Love Black Community has been using. OLBC has until January 2023 to relocate. We are currently looking for a new space. If you know of any empty commercial, warehouse, or garage space that may be a good fit for us please let us know here
